01/05/2004 Added New Tutorial to the Webmaster Resources
Area
Lately, there’s been allot of buzz about the recent legislation
relating to email, specifically in the form of the CANSPAM
Act of 2003. From reading prominent discussion boards and talking
with other webmasters and self employed individuals, there seems to be
allot of confusion as to what the CANSPAM
Act is and how it will impact our future marketing campaigns. In this
article, I will attempt to shed some light on the underlying meaning of
this 21 page law (in PDF format directly downloaded from congress itself,
it is 21 pages long), and attempt to offer suggestions to keep your marketing
efforts within Uncle Sam’s guidelines

11/27/2003 - Jumped to a Paid Hosting Solution
We took the plunge and decided to go with a paid hosting
solution. We wanted more control over our site, and the ability to run
more server side processes to help automate the site a bit. We chose Yahoo
as our hosting solution to ensure continued site access and up time. Just
another step we took to ensure our availability to our customers.

12/28/2001 - Professional Library Added
Today we added an area to show our visitors what kind of
information we have gathered to show you what to do, or that qualifies
us to be able to offer the services we offer. This new area shows what
kind of research we have done, what we have read, and where our actual
experience comes from. You can find it at this link Professional
Library.

12/27/2001 - New tutorial added
Today we added another tutorial article on "Emotional
Marketing ". This article looks into the strategy of emotional
marketing and how catering to this kind of marketing principle and
your visitors can pay off big in sales and affiliate program click throughs.
The article takes a practical look at a marketing principle that most
new webmasters/website designers never think of. The article deals with
basic principles that will keep your visitors coming back, and keep the
trust factor in place that will generate more traffic through word of
mouth advertising.
Forgive us, but over the holidays we were playing cook
because our significant other was still recovering from surgery. We will
try to get back on track with the promised two articles per week within
the next site update. Our apologies, and we will try not to let that happen
again.

12/23/2001 - New tutorial added along with more targeted
quality links
Today we added another tutorial article on "Affiliate
Strategy". This article looks into the strategy of affiliate
programs and increasing your chances at being successful in affiliate
marketing. The goal is to become successful and make money, but most webmasters
and website designers fail to plan properly to help insure their income.
This article looks at the planning involved, and the questions to ask
when choosing affiliate program(s) that are a good fit for your site and
you.
We are also looking at providing better quality links to
our visitors. We have found a program that helps to rotate links through
our site, and have began with the Webmaster Training Area. The adds include
webmaster tools, hosting services, financial services, business to business
products/services, and other general types of products. All links on the
site are now designed to pop open in new windows ( if they will take a
visitor away from the site ), and if you click a link that does not pop
open a new window, then please contact us and let us know. Information
should include the page URL it happened on, and the link clicked.
We are also working hard to make sure that our visitors
are provided with reputable links that deliver what they tell visitors
they are going to get at the link. Should you have any problems with any
of the link companies, we would appreciate you letting us know. We want
to provide our visitors with links to reputable products/services. Should
those links not be of high caliber, we want to remove them from our site.
We ask your help in making sure that Sanders Consultation Group Plus only
links to the best quality links on the web. If you have a problem with
one of our links, please contact us and let us know. Information should
include page URL, company, and link clicked.
We are also working on getting at least 2 articles added
to the site a week, more if time permits. Again, as always, thanks for
dropping by, and please come back again. Just a reminder, if you like
the site, then please refer a friend.

12/17/2001 - New FREE newsletter links added, and our first
tutorial available
Added a link to the new free
newsletter area of the site. Just sign up with the new portal,
and you can chose to receive it or not. Yes, we have finally decided
to launch a newsletter to help keep our visitors updated. We are
still working out the content details, but feel free to sign up
in advance for the free service.
We will have site update notices in the newsletter along with our
company service specials and any additional services we may be providing.
We are still deciding if this will be a monthly or weekly newsletter
that would also possibly include some periodic additional volumes
for special customer information requirements. We have also made
our first tutorial on webmaster issues available with more to come.
Our first tutorial "Time
Management" looks into the downfalls of bad time management
skills in relation to the success, and mental health of today's
webmasters and website designers.

12/16/2001 - Partnership with SFI & Cognigen to offer
more services to our visitors
Added some new links to the site to include some partnered
services we have added. We have now joined forces with SFI and Cognigen
to be able to provide some additional services to our visitors and potential
customers. Cognigen provides telecom solutions including long distance,
calling cards, dial-drounds, conference calling, voice messaging, internet
access, satellite TV, cellular/PCS, paging service, computers, home security,
I-Net telephony, callback service, and web services. They take a Progressive
Insurance Company approach to customer service. Like Sanders Consultation
Group Plus, they focus on potential customer service satisfaction, even
if it isn't from their own services. Visit the site and get quotes from
various providers to find the best services at the most competitive prices.
SFI is a complete solution for home based businesses and MLM opportunities.
They also offer some telecom services, but focus more on other products
and services related to home based business. You can also access these
links anytime at the bottom of the pages through the Telecom Services
(Cognigen) and Other services (SFI) links.

12/12/2001 - Website optimization and other possible services
Today and over the past days has been a lot of work in
site submission, and site optimization for the search engines. We have
removed some of the "Under Construction" notices to let our
customers know which areas are presently complete, and which pages are
still in development. We are working on another round of updates for areas
of the site still under construction, and more examples of our abilities.
Please bear with us and continue to check back often. We are also presently
evaluating the possibility of an online ezine area, and a mailing list
for site update notification, and other information pertaining to Sanders
Consultation Group Plus. We have also been researching some affiliate
programs, and are trying to keep the site as clean as possible, but don't
be surprised if future uploads display more banner adds. Your patronage
is appreciated, and we look forward to your continuing support.
12/06/2001 - Promotional service pricing upload
Today we uploaded some promotional service pack bundles
for both business and residential customers. Residential customers, please
bear with us as we continue to design the pages for your area. Business
customers please bear with us also as we continue to finish the design
of the business pages. You can access the promotional offers now here
Promotional Specials .
We also added some links to site design examples in our portfolio section.
You can now access our portfolio here Site
Portfolio.

12/04/2001 - Site division into business and residential
customer areas
Split the site as planned. It is now broken down into business
and residential customer areas. Please be patient with us as we continue
to work on getting our price plans together. We are presently researching
competition to make sure that our pricing falls in line with them. We
want to serve our customers, but serve them fairly at the same time. You
can now access that split here.
Top of Page
12/03/2001 - Upload of company information pages
Uploaded the initial company information pages, including
contact information, services, partners,
and others. These areas are now accessible through the bottom text link
navigational tables. These text links were inactive at the time of the
original site upload on 12/2. Most of the site skeleton is now online,
and links are all active. We have decided to change the format to separate
content as discussed in the 12/2/2001 site update note. Groundwork is
presently being done to accomplish that, and additional image creation
and editing is required before we move forward with it. We project that
within the week the site should be divided. You can access that information
now here.
12/02/2001 - Initial site upload
Uploaded the site to Geocities servers. Since the site
is still not in its entirety as thought in scope, some pages are marked
with notes indicating they are not quite yet complete. More thoughts about
site layout and possible changes to original format being explored and
tested at this time. We are thinking about dividing the site into business
and residential customer areas. Our experience shows that business needs
tend to differ from residential needs, and thus we feel there should be
some distinction between the two. We also believe that by chopping out
services that businesses need in a residential site service area will
help our residential customers find services quicker. It's all about making
things easier for our customers.
